The Trouble with Demons -- The Cover!

As promised, here it is -- the final cover for The Trouble with Demons. (Click on the image to see a larger version).
And late yesterday afternoon, I got the final back cover copy. Enjoy!
My name is Raine Benares. I'm a seeker. People hire me when they need something found. I'm not usually the one being sought. But that all changed when I found the Saghred, a soul-stealing stone of unlimited power -- and the bane of my existence. Now mages and madmen have me in their sights, not to mention demons . . .
An opened Hellgate leads to a demon infestation on the Isle of Mid, and while there's never an ideal time to face down demon hordes, it's hard to imagine a worse one. Already fighting the influence of the Saghred, Raine discovers she is also magically bonded to a dark mage and a white knight, two dangerous and powerful men on opposing sides -- and Raine's stuck in the middle.
But with demons pouring through the Hellgate, Raine can't afford to be distracted. Turns out, the demons want the key to unlock the Saghred. As a seeker, Raine should be able to find it first. As the axis of light and dark powers, she's a magical cataclysm waiting to happen . . .

Coming up tomorrow: I'll answer a reader question on getting to know your characters.

Let me know what you think about the cover,
Lisa

I did a 'My hero' essay in french yesterday I don't really have one so I put Eve Dallas, Mavis Freestone, Nadine Furst and Dalia Peabody from JD Robb and Raine! A little bit of each person I put Raine ablity to be (somewhat)calm looking outside when she is Panicing inside

Thank you, Jen!

Hi Kara, That's so cool that you included Raine in your essay. TTWD's publication date is April 2009. I suspect it'll be the end of April. And TTWD isn't any darker than the other books. I think the new cover better reflects the tone of the entire series -- serious subject matter, but told with humor.

Cover is totally awesome! Blurb great - longing for the book now! Still have the others to keep me occupied :)

My fav is the one for MLTF. Life so busy haven't read any more, but plan to when it calms down.

Oh WOW!!! The cover is stunning, but I'm more excited about the back cover blurb. Will there be any sneak peeks for Christmas this year, too? Of course, you don't HAVE to wait for Christmas, either. :D

Hi Kate, I'm planning on the usual Christmas sneak-peek of the first three chapters.

I love it! My favorite so far--I really like the darker tone and lack of sparkles. ;) It looks awesome. You have an amazing cover artist!

Hi, Merc! It's my favorite too. Aleta Rafton has done an amazing job. I am beyond thrilled.

What a fabulous cover! I'm so looking forward to reading TTWD. I loved MLTF and A&M was even better. By the way, Christmas is too far away. How about one chapter a month starting October? =)

Hi Kathleen! I just went over to your website and saw that you go RWA. Will you be at the RT Convention in Orlando this year? I love meeting fellow authors. : )

I'm so glad you've enjoyed my books! I probably won't be able to post the TTWD sample chapters until around Christmas (that's around the time when I get the final copyedited manuscript). But if I get it earlier, I'll post it earlier.

RWA is my one conference for the year. RT is too expensive and I can't justify the plane fare for two trips. Plus I just agreed to a couple of tight deadlines, so I really ought have my nose to the grindstone.

See what happens when I have my nose buried in a manuscript? I miss sneak peek cover debuts. So glad I decided to catch up with your blog.

Wow! The cover is awesome. The best yet, and that's saying a lot because they've all been great.

Can't wait for the release date.
