March Madness book tournament
I know I don't normally blog on Sunday, but I have some more fun for everyone! Damon over at Bookspot Central.com just emailed me about a March Madness style book tournament. Armed & Magical is up against The Reawakened in the first round. If you love Armed & Magical, pop over and give your vote and tell why. Here's the link to the forum page.

The rules are listed inside each of the threads. Just click on the "The Reawakened vs Armed & Magical" thread. The winning author of each of the two tournaments (2008 and Dealers choice) will receive a trophy engraved with the their name and the year of the tournament. Needless to say, I would love to have a trophy! ; ) Voting for this match will end around 8:00 PM EST on Wednesday, 3/25. If Armed & Magical wins, it'll move up a bracket to the next round -- and another competitor.

I always loved the premise to this series and enjoyed reading the copy I won, but still I was I slow to really come around. Now, rereading the opening chapters to the second one, I can't actually understand what it was and I'm really kicking myself for not ordering a copy of it last year when you were offering autographed copies from B&N.
Moreover, after reading your gracious blog comments and having received a christmas card from you, well, I must buy all your books. That is all there is to it!
The question is, when "Armed and Magical" came out, you had something where we could order from a local B&N to receive a signed copy - will you be doing that again?
I'm really impressed with you and how you've managed to stay connected to the fans! Actually, it's that connection that managed to smooth over whatever it was that held me back from buying the second one even though, mind you, I DID wonder what the characters were up to.
(BTW - really cool names.)

Hi Lisa! What a wonderful comment -- thank you so much! I do try to connect and stay connected to my fans. I will be checking with my local B&N to see if they can do a signed book offer for me. I'll be sure to post on my blog and in my news section if that happens. And you can still vote -- Armed & Magical is in the semi-finals, and after tomorrow it'll probably be in the final round.
