Sick today

Today is Day 3 of my cold, and it finally took me out of the game. I called in sick to my day job, and am out of bed long enough to type this, eat some cereal, get a cup of tea and go back to bed (with three very snuggly and supportive dogs). The cough's moved down into my chest and my voice sounds like Darth Vader -- though a kind coworker said yesterday that it was more like a deep & sexy Kathleen Turner. Uh . . . yeah, I'll take Kathleen over Darth any day.

The hubby brought me two big boxes of Puffs Plus (tissues with lotion in them for those of you not in the U.S.) These things are a life saver (or literally a nose saver). I've blown my nose so much that it would have fallen off my face by now if not for the Puffs.

Cereal is finished, tea is made, going back to bed, and back to sleep.
