Raine needs Amazon reviews! You need prizes!
A lot of you have already read The Trouble with Demons and loved it. I can't tell you how much fun it is to read all of your emails telling me what you loved and why. I need for you all to do me a big favor (and I'm gonna make it worth your while) -- if you loved The Trouble with Demons, tell the world about it with a review on Amazon.
One of the first things people will do when they hear about my books (or any book for that matter) is to go to Amazon and check the reviews. And for many people, the number of reviews reflects the popularity of the books. Unfortunate, but true. If there aren't a lot of reviews there, it can give the impression that the book must not be any good. Big name authors with established series have lots of reviews. I'm not a big name author, and my series is just getting established, so I need your help.
I know it's time-consuming to compose and post a review, so I'm going to make it worth your while. We're gonna have a contest. Over the next 2-3 weeks, when you post a review to either Amazon or Barnes & Noble, send me an email to let me know that it's up there. That email will enter you in a drawing in two weeks (let's say Saturday, May 9th) to win one of two prize packs. (I'll post pictures of the prizes here tomorrow.)
The first name drawn (Derek will be doing the drawing from a hat, bowl, or something) will win a t-shirt with the cover for The Trouble with Demons (I can sign it if you'd like), a key chain with the cover for TTWD on one side and I'll sign it on the other, a collection of fridge magnets of all of my covers, as well as signed postcards and bookmarks.
If you've already posted a review (THANK YOU!), send me an email and I'll enter you in the contest. For those of you who want to post a review, but haven't either gotten or finished reading the book yet, there will be a second prize drawing on Saturday May 16th. And if you don't win in the first drawing on May 9, you're automatically entered in the drawing on May 16. Just don't forget to email me to let me know that you've posted a review so I can enter you in the contest.
The more books people buy, the more popular the series becomes, the more manuscripts my publisher will buy -- and the Raine, Mychael, and Tam stories will continue. It's a beautiful thing. And as an added bonus, I might just even make a certain best seller list. ; ) Thank you for all the support and encouragement you all have given me!

I'll write reviews for Amazon UK!
Thank you, sweetie! Just email me when it's up.
Consider it done! Once review is written for Ink and Paper, I'll post it on Amazon :) It just needs to arrive now!
Usually I don't review books that already have a bunch of reviews, but since you asked, I will. :) I'm only halfway through reading the book (stupid work cutting into my reading time), but I'm absolutely loving it!
Thank you Jo & K.C.!!
Mine still isn't here. :(
I'll post a review on my blog for sure-- and I'll put it over on Amazon too!
And GoodReads!! I think GoodReads ratings are really helpful too!
Thank you, Britt!
I'll blog it and review it once I read it (I did, however, buy it yesterday)...unfortunately, I've decided to be good and not start it until I've finished my Master's comps, which I'll be taking on Saturday. I'm afraid I wouldn't put it down...
Good girl, Cherity. Studying should come first. : )
I couldn't put the book down and am starting my own countdown to Bewitched and Betrayed.
Will try to post a review on Amazon as well as Chapter's/Indigo. After all, everyone should know what a great author Lisa is and what a great time can be had by losing yourself in one of her books.
I absolutely love it! I am (for once) trying to not read it in a matter of hours, or in some time less than a day. I basically started it today, had a bunch of work to do, and am probably going to finish tomorrow. It's great, and I want to make it last. I'll write a review when I finish, and Lisa, it is absolutely fantastic! I would love to mention specific details, but I won't spoil anything for anybody : )
*is in a book high* (in a good way - that could be interpreted in a bad way, I think)
and, I'm going on amazon, barnes and nobles to rate it
I'll do a review on both, too
and borders
:)
Thank you, Anonymous! And don't forget to email me and let me know your name when you've posted your reviews, so I can enter you in the contest.
I doubt I'll be able to do anything at Amazon and Barnes and Noble in a timely manner. However, I will be able to present Mom with her Mother's Day presents right on time. I even picked up a card to stick the bookplates, bookmark, and post into. {SMILE}
Thanks again! {BIG SMILE}

That's perfectly fine, Anne! I'm so glad that I was able to help make your mom's Mother's Day special! ; )
Thanks to you, I'm sure Mom will be happily surprised. {SMILE}
