Signed copies of my books are NOW AVAILABLE!

The Trouble with Demons will be released one week from today -- the wait is almost over!

And the Barnes & Noble in Cary, NC, has most graciously offered to make signed and personalized copies of any and all of my books available to you.

Ordering couldn't be easier:
1. Email Linda Maloof at CRM2647@bn.com. She's the fabulous Community Relations Manager in the Cary, NC, store.
2. Put "LISA SHEARIN BOOKS" in the subject line of your email.
3. Tell Linda which of my books you want to order.
4. Tell her how many you want.
5. Include in your email who you would like the book personalized to. And feel free to include any special occasion like a birthday or anniversary.
6. Include a phone number where Linda or one of her staff can contact you for your credit card information.

That's it!

I'll drop by the Cary B&N and sign books as orders come in. And of course, I'll include signed bookmarks in every book.

I'm looking forward to signing your books! : )

Lisa

That's just awesome! Such a cool idea. Hope you don't get cramp signing all the books you're bound to sign!

Just a few questions, if you don't mind.

1) How much is she charging for packing & shipping?
2) Since the point-of-sale is in NC, do we pay NC sales taxes?
3) Is she only going to do this for a certain period of time?

Just trying to fit this into my book budget!

Whoohoo! I am rereading MLTF and A&M prior to TWD release. It's as funny as I remembered, funnier because I know what happens to everyone.

Are authors allowed to go into a bookstore, sign their own books, then leave and let people just open them up and be surprised? Or would it have to be presigned?

Hi Tia, I don't mind at all. : )

1. Shipping will depend on weight (how many books you order).
2. I don't know about the sales tax. Linda would be able to tell you.
3. To my knowledge, there is no end date for the offer. I would guess as long as there is demand.

Hi Yunaleska,
Yes, authors can go into bookstores and sign the copies of their books that the store has in stock -- also known as "signing stock." The bookstore staff will put "Autographed copy" stickers on the cover to let people know that the copy is signed. I always include a signed bookmark as well.

Thanks!
Lisa

Yay! I'm also re-reading the first two -just starting the second- to get ready for TTWD. Any chance of you ever doing a booksining in Maryland? (Hint hint) :)

I'd love to be able to do a book tour -- but until I'm a big name author selling A LOT of books, my publisher won't be sending me on one.

But you can order books and I'll personalize them for you, so it'll be almost like a book signing. Hmmm, to make it more like a book signing, I'll have my husband take pics of me at Barnes & Noble when I'm signing the first batch of orders.

I already pre-ordered my copy from Amazon (Drat). Pictures would be great though. I shall look at them and pretend. :)
I just discovered I am a fickle fickle girl. First read-through I was all for Tam and Raine ending up together and now on my second read-through I'm rooting for Mychael. (But Tam is still seriously hot.)
