Sorry for the late post -- I have a sick kitty
Sorry for the late post everyone, but it's been a busy day -- and not in a good way.
I had to rush Natasha (our cat) to the vet this morning. I thought we were going to lose her. The vets are running tests, have the results of some, and are waiting on the results of others. We're eliminating options at this point, but the problem seems to be centering on her bladder and possibly kidneys. The details are complicated, so I won't go into them here. Natasha is 18 years old, so that limits some of the treatment options. I'll get to pick her up later this afteroon. She'll have another appointment for a few followup tests next week. When there's a definite diagnosis, I'll be sure to let you know.

Ohh, I hope she's ok!! *hugs*
Sick author, sick cat... bad couple of days. :(
Here's hoping they get better!
Awwwwwww!!!! Poor kitty :( I hope you both feel better.
Natasha is home now and reclining comfortably in her bed like the queen she is. : ) She's on several meds, the strongest of which is an antibiotic. Our vet is treating it right now as a severe bladder infection with crystals. I have meds to give her as well. She goes back for a follow-up visit this Thursday, the same day I take Gracie (our girl greyhound) in for a dental cleaning, and Andy (our boy greyhound)for an echocardiagram (sp?). A slight heart murmur showed up during his annual checkup last week, and the doc wants to make sure that it's nothing serious.
As for me, I'm just really tired, but feeling much better. Need good sleep tonight after everything that happened today. Fortunately the ad agency where I work is incredibly animal friendly. A sick dog or cat is the same as having a sick child -- if you need to take time off, you do it. Great place to work!
Good luck Lisa! I hoope everything stays looking better! I have two cats, and I love them so much... so I especially hope everything is good.
Hope you are well, Natasha, and I hope you also feel better Lisa!
: )
and good luck to everybody else1 : )
(sorry for double post... I'm a little out of it today)

I'm glad to hear your kitty is doing better. Maybe if she's the type of kitty who likes to be held, you can hold her on your tummy and you both will feel better!
Aaah, a captcha. You must be having the same comment spam problem I'm having.
I'm sorry it's been such a rough week for you. Happy to hear Natasha is back. I'm glad you work with such nice people. :)
Thank you, everyone! In case I haven't said it lately -- I have absolutely the best fans. Other authors might think that their fans are the best, but they're wrong -- you all are awesome!
XOXOX

Hope both you and your kitty are feeling better!
We both are, thank you!
