How to REALLY help an author.

My new author buddy, Jim C. Hines, posted this on his blog yesterday, and it is absolutely, positively priceless -- and truer words were never spoken.

Here is the link to Jim's author insightfulness for your reading enjoyment.

Jim is a wonderful author and a great guy -- AND his latest book came out on Tuesday, The Mermaid's Madness. Be sure to check it out.

Thanks for the link. Those comments were priceless. Poor Bob. I love Hines' goblin trilogy. I haven't read any of his other books yet, though.

I read his post yesterday, I thought it was quite funny! :)
Currently in the middle of reading his first book in his Princess series, The Stepsister Scheme. I can't decide if I like it or not. Will have to wait til the end.

Thanks for the funny article link :)- gave me a laugh today. I sent a sample chapter of Mermaid Madness to my kindle because I love a reinvented fairy tale.

{BURST OF LAUGHTER, REALLY BIG GRIN}

Vi Thompson, my first writing mentor hated "where do you get your ideas." It was her second-worst pet peeve, right behind people asking her to tell them what she thought of their manuscript, then acting crushed when she made suggestions instead of telling them it was perfect, and they shouldn't change a word. {REALLY BIG GRIN, wink}
