News and new contest! FOR AN ARC!
I've approved the design on my new website -- and it looks fabulous! Webmaster Todd says it'll go live sometime this month.
For those of you who subscribe to The Writer magazine (or get it at your local bookstore), the April issue is out and my column is on its usual place on page 10. This month's topic is "Know the signs of author burnout."
And I have some REALLY big news that I can't share with you yet, but the moment I can, I will.
Now on to the contest. I have two ARCs of Bewitched & Betrayed in the mail to me now, and I want to share the wealth. There will be two contests, one starting today, and the other kicking off soon.
Okay, here's the deal -- early next year, I'll be pitching a new series to my publisher set in Raine's world (I already have the characters and setting for this series), but I thought it'd be fun to hear what ya'll would like for potential future books. Email me at lisa@lisashearin.com with the subject line "New series" and tell me what character(s) you'd like to see get their own series and why. It doesn't have to be long or detailed, or anything like that.
I'll select one winner. I don't know what the winning criteria will be, but I'll know it when I read it. The winner gets an ARC of Bewitched & Betrayed. Bear in mind, the winner just gets an ARC; it doesn't mean I'll be writing a series with those characters. This is just a contest for fun; but as I said, I love hearing what you have to say.
Send your emails to me by Friday, March 19. I'll select and announce the winner (and the winning entry) on Saturday, March 20. Perhaps for fun, I'll post some of the finalists later.
Sound good? Okay, get ready, get set, write.

Such an awesome contest! Ohh, you have no idea how fun this is!
I have just sent you an email with my entry. I know you said it didn't need to be long or detailed, but I couldn't help it. And I'm excited over it, even though it's not going to happen. So I'm half excited, half depressed, lol.
Ohh, can we enter more than once if we get more ideas? I like this game.. err, contest!
I just read your idea. Very cool.
And yes, anyone can submit as many ideas as they would like.
