Derek & Lucy

Derek got a new digital camera for his birthday, and today was my first attempt at using it. Lucy, our Jack Russell Terrorist, is attempting to bend Derek to her will. That's her "you want to give me all of the cookies" look.

Update on The Trouble With Demons: I finished Chapter 9 last night (finally!), and I'm working on Chapter 10. My goal is to have it finished by tomorrow night, but if it doesn't happen, that's okay. If I don't finish it, I know I'll be close.

Those are cute. Dogs are great for eye contact. So are cats! My poor kitty is blind, now.

Thank you! Lucy tries so hard to get us to read her mind. (It usually involves food, going outside, playing or curling up with us).

Our kitties are 16 and still healthy, thank God.

Ha. I know the " You WANT to give me that piece of fish" look. I get it all the time from my cats!

I'll have to take a pic the next time Natasha sits next to my desk and meows non-stop. She's over 16 years old and I still haven't figured out what she's saying. It's not food, petting, or "hold me." I think her meow must be caught in a repeat loop. ; )

Aww, love the pics. I have a Lab and a Border Collie, but they're ranch dogs and seldom come in the house. I miss having a lap puppy. *sigh*

Thanks! Right now Lucy is quite a lap full of lap puppy. Girlfriend is on a diet, hence the "I want more cookies" look. Our vet said in addition to the diet kibble we're giving her that she can have salt-free green beans -- plenty of fiber to make her feel full, and they won't go straight to her hips like cookies will. Fortunately, Lucy loves veggies.
