Back from long weekend vacation

Derek and I are back from our long weekend in the North Carolina mountains -- and it was wonderful! We stayed at The Inn at Crestwood in Blowing Rock, NC. The staff is simply spectacular. Here are some pics Derek took at the inn. Tomorrow, I'll post pics from our hike to a local river with the some of most humongous rocks I've ever seen. ; )

Our "evening turndown service" consisted of lots of goodies. I especially liked the chocolate-covered strawberries with cream -- and the champagne.
