Couches and cover letters
Derek took this photo of me, the pups, and the kitty from the loft. Note the TV remote on my chest. Hmmm, it must have been one of those rare breaks I take to enjoy a little TV. ; )
My agent, Kristin Nelson, has one of the most popular publishing industry blogs out there. Last night she told about a group blog recently started by the folks over at Del Rey Books (a division of Random House). The latest post is from Betsy Mitchell (Del Rey Vice President and Editor-in-Chief) on "A Good Cover Letter is Hard to Find." She has some examples of some attention-grabbing ones. Enjoy!
Today, I finish Chapter 2 of Bewitched & Betrayed (come hell or high water).

So I'm getting the impression that you have to look good all the time, because you never know when the hubby is going to pounce in for a snapshot?
Thanks so much for the link to "A good cover letter is hard to find"! I'm currently working on a story (my first!) and eventually i'll try to send it out, so the tips and advice you post are much appreciated :) I love reading your entries everyday because I gain so much new information that is helping me on my own journey. Thanks again!!
Tia, LOL -- you should see me right now. Armed & Magical t-shirt and shorts, hair pulled back in a ponytail (haven't brushed it yet), no makeup. Derek takes the photos, but I pick the ones that get posted. ; )
You're most welcome, Beverly -- I'm so glad my blogs are helping you! : ) If you have any specific writing-related questions, just ask. I'll do my best to answer them.
